Chinese New Year 2025: Dower & Hall welcomes the Year of the Snake

Chinese New Year 2025 begun on 29th January, marking the start of the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. It's a time laced with rituals, family reunions, and wishes for prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead.

The Snake is the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac, and symbolises intelligence, intuition and transformation. Those born in Snake years (1977, 1989, 2001, and 2013) are often seen as wise and charming, and benefit from being strategic thinkers.

As we step into the Year of the Snake, our serpent-inspired Talisman treasures are a stylish way to celebrate the Lunar New Year and bring good fortune. The design features a snake with the phases of the moon at its head. These two symbols together are associated with renewal and rejuvenation, wisdom and charm, elegance and transformation.

Our 3mm wide solid 14k yellow gold snake ring curls around your finger and is engraved with 'Fearless' on the inside. A symbol of rejuvenation, power and strength, the snake's eyes are set with sparkling white diamonds.
